PURPOSE:To prevent certainly peeling off of a grindstone during abrading works and enhance the rate of operation of an abrading machine by combining a solid grindstone and a metal plate into one body through adhesive being flatly rolled and equally spread. CONSTITUTION:A metal plate 2 is sized so that its warpage and strain can be within the range of less than 3mm in the thickness direction ber at each surface size of 100mm, through forging press or squeezing in the thickness direction by the help of a press. Thereafter, the surface of this metal plate 2 is roughened by a sand paper to obtain the surface relative roughness of 50S-300S and the area for adhesion is expanded. Next, after the flat roll and equal spread of adhesive 3 on the rough surface of the metal plate 2, a solid grindstone 1, the bottom flatness of which is in advance, matched virtually to the flatness of the metal plate 2, is overlapped on the metal plate 2. Then, combination of the solid grindstone 1 and the metal plate 2 into one body is firmly made by solidifying resin 3.
