<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a recording time, by a method wherein the judgement is made whether all the heating elements in a block to be recorded in one time are already energized, and if energized, the recording of a next block is started even if the elapsed time has not reached a given time length. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 6 refers to an output of a flip-flop 20 in every completion of respective energizing cycles SK, k=0-4. The flip-flop 20 is set to 1 when one or more recording dot(s) in the selected block is/are energized; but on the other hand, it is still in the state of reset when all the recording dots therein are not energized. Accordingly, with the flip-flop 20 being reset, the recording of the block to be selected next is started, because the completion of the printing of the block now selected can be made known even if the control circuit 6 does not cover the energizing cycle S4. As a result, the time required for recording one line can be extremely shortened.</p> |
