PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal noise from developing by a structure wherein canvas, green rubber sheet, tensile body, green sheet and non-woven cloth containing friction coefficient reducing agent are wound in the order named onto the outer peripheral surface of a rubber sleeve in order to form a tubular green molded body. CONSTITUTION:Cotton canvas 4a or upper canvas layer 4-to-be, comparatively thinner green rubber sheet 13 or adhesion rubber 7-to-be, tensile body cord 6 and comparatively thicker green rubber sheet 14 or rib rubber layer 8-to-be are wound in the order named onto the outer peripheral surface of a rubber sleeve 12. After that, non-woven cloth 15 containing graphite or surface layer 9-to-be is wound in the longitudinal direction of a belt in order to form a green molded body 16. Accordingly, because the surface of the rib is composed of non-woven cloth containing graphite, the friction coefficient is lowered without impairing the flexing property of the belt, resulting in enabling to easily manufacture a ribbed V-belt, the abnormal noise in which is prevented from developing and the wear resistance of which is contrived to improve. |
