PURPOSE:To enable film forming of a large area and continuous recording layer by coating a protective layer made of resin while running a film substrate, and sticking and laminating the recording layer by scattering raw materials of the recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A protective layer is coated by running a film on a transferring roller 5 on the way of carrying the film 6 from a winding-out roll 1 to a can 3. The film 6 on which the protective layer is coated is carried on the can 3 while keeping the formed protective layer not to come into contact with equipment such as a carrying roll, etc. At this time, materials 9 of a photomagnetic recording layer filled in an evaporation source tank 8 are filmed on the protective layer by vapor deposition, sputtering etc., and a recording layer is laminated. The direction of incidence of the material 9 on the protective layer of the film 6 is controlled by shielding plates 7.
