PURPOSE:To enable to test photo-transmission easily at any time in a drum- wound condition, by fixing a light source lamp arranged in front of each photo- fiber core picked out from the beginning of the drum-winding of a photo- compound wire, inside the drum. CONSTITUTION:Each photo-fiber core of a photo-compound overhead and ground wire (OPGW) 1 is picked out in an adequate length, with the twisting layer removed, and fixed with fixing metals 14 and 15 at the side plate 13. In front of them is furnished a light source lamp 20, fixed at the inside of the side plate 13, connected with a lead wire 16 of power supply, and picked out through a hole 17. If the power supply lead wire 15 is connected to a cell or other power source to light the lamp 20, the light enters the each photo-fiber core 3 at the beginning 8 of the winding, and the lighting can be observed at the ending of the winding. Thus, a field photo-transmission test can be carried out easily at any time in the drum-wound condition. |
