Slip-proof shelf surface

Shelf surface, specially in a shelf which is open at the top, is situated in the region of the dashboard of a motor vehicle and is provided with an anti-slip device to protect articles placed on it against displacement. The said anti-slip device comprises anti-slip bodies (5) which can be inserted or moulded into recesses in the shelf surface which are arranged at intervals. The anti-slip bodies (5) can therefore by mounted to virtually any surface, even as a subsequent attachment. <IMAGE>
