The cylindrical hopper serves for storing bulk materials, in particular cement clinker, and comprises an upper device for loading the hopper through an upper aperture and a lower conveying device located in a discharge channel provided below the hopper bottom for conducting the material discharged under the force of gravity through a lower hopper aperture. A particularly efficient construction which guarantees simple handling of the bulk material results if the interior of the hopper (1) is subdivided by at least one closed wall (6) into at least one outer container (5) and one preferably coaxial inner container (7) for accommodating different bulk materials. On the one hand, the bulk materials can be fed selectively to the containers (5, 7) by means of the upper loading device which is common to both containers. On the other hand, they can be delivered simultaneously in a selectable mixing ratio by means of the conveying device (11') which is common to the lower, selectively actuable container apertures (12, 14) (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
