PURPOSE:To prevent a transfer sheet from being wrinkled, by bringing the transfer sheet and a recording paper into close contact with each other by the pressure of air in an air chamber. CONSTITUTION:When an air pump 19 is operated and air is supplied simultaneously to a transfer device 16 and an air cylinder 23 through a pipe 20, an end of a link 22 is pushed up, and the transfer device 16 is brought into close contact with a drum 10. Air fed from the pump 19 into the air chamber 16b raises the air pressure in the chamber 16b, thereby bringing the transfer sheet 13 and the recording paper 12 into close contact with each other, and a xenon flash lamp 17 is turned ON each time the drum 10 is rotated a predetermined angle, thereby continuously transferring. The sheet 13 is laminated on the paper 12 while being stretched by air blown from the transfer device 16, and since the pressure is continuously increased when the sheet 13 passes through a gap part, the sheet 13 is prevented from being wrinkled. |
