PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and servicing, by a method wherein a water resistant corrosionproof netlike material is placed around the portion, positioned in water, of a selection intake equipment. CONSTITUTION:A water resistant corrosionproof netlike material 30 is placed around the position, positioned in water, of a structure 20, with which a selection intake installation 10 is formed, to form a dustproof device 7. This enables prevention of corrosion of the structure 20, and permits removal of driftwood, refuse, etc. present in a reservoir.
