<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an operation switching circuit excellent in operability by switching selectively the state of waiting for sound recording and the state of sound recording due to difference of operation time between an operation switch for sound recording and an operation switch for reproducing, and at the same time, indicating timing of time of operation. CONSTITUTION:When operation switches 1, 3 are closed for a short time, a signal of H level is outputted to the output terminal for sound recording 14 of a controlling circuit 9, and a sound recording switching circuit 16 goes to the state of operation, and a tape recorder goes to the state of sound recording, and at the same time, a transistor Tr18 goes to the state of conduction to light up a light emission diode 21. When a specified time lapsed after outputting of the H level signal from the terminal 14 by sound recording operation, Tr25, 26 are made conductive by a signal delayed by a delay circuit 22, and the Tr is inverted to the state of conduction through a time constant circuit 31. An input terminal for temporary stopping 12 is grounded, and a signal of H level is outputted to an output terminal for temporary stopping 15.
