An opening, closing and controlling mechanism for a heat or cold exchanger system with forward and return flows between the supply side (primary side) and consumption side (secondary side) has a cylindrical canal (piston slide valve cylinder 7) with a piston slide valve 25 which is rotatable and displaceable in the slide valve cylinder. The slide valve cylinder connects the forward flow 1 with the return flow 2. One of the forward and return flows 5 is via a branch flow 19 further connected with the slide valve cylinder at the point lying between the forward flow and the return flow on the respective side (primary side, secondary side) of the mechanism. The piston slide valve has ports 28, 29, 30 and/or flows which in the closed state of the slide valve connects the branch flow 19 of said flow 5 with the other flow 3 on the same side (primary or secondary side) of the mechanism, and in its open state connects the forward and return flows, respectively with each other. In the closed state, the control mechanism secures the system against unexpected flow leaks between the primary and the secondary sides. <IMAGE> |
