PURPOSE:To improve the disturbance of a large area flicker and a vertical resolution by displaying a display picture image through the first optical means to the same picture image area and observing respectively right and left picture image through the second optical means corresponding to the right and left eyes. CONSTITUTION:For the left camera 16 and for the right camera 18, two field memorries FM respectively, memories for four fields in total are prepared. The signal from the right and left cameras 16 and 18 is written to respective memories FM at a usual speed once. The reading is executed at the twofold sped, the output of a memory FM is changed over for 1/120 second each, and the left picture is displayed at the upper half of the screen of a high quality television display CRT and the right picture is displayed at the lower half. In this way, the displayed right and left pictures are synthesized through an optical means, the electronic shutter type glasses GLS to observe this are also changed over at 1/120 second which is the speed two times as much as a conventional one, synchronized with the reading of the memory FM and the glasses are changed over to right and left and alternately. |
