PURPOSE:A composition providing a film, yarn, etc. having improved transparency and physical properties, obtained by blending poly-p-phenylene sulfide and poly-m-phenylene sulfide with a specific phenylene sulfide copolymer, wherein both the components are blended in good compatibility. CONSTITUTION:(A) Poly-p-phenylene sulfide is blended with (B) poly-m-phenylene sulfide and (C) a phenylene sulfide copolymer consisting of a repeating units shown by the formula I and a repeating unit shown by the formula II, a block copolymer wherein the repeating unit I exists as 20-5,000 average bonded block in the molecular chain, having 0.10-0.95mol fraction of the repeating unit I, in a blending ratio of A/(A+B)=50-95wt%, B/(A+B)=50-5wt%, (A+ B)/(A+B+C)=50-95wt%, and C/(A+B+C)=50-5wt%. |
