The invention relates to an educational toy in the form of blocks with multiple uses. This device comprises a certain number of blocks bearing figures and having adapted dimensions which can be inserted into grooves 4, 5 of a calculating assembly 60, which are delimited by spaced guide bars 11, 21, 31 parallel to each other and connected to lateral guide bars 9, in such a way as to form numbered combinations and associations by juxtaposition and alignment of the said blocks, the said calculating assembly 60 being constituted by two parts joined by link means 6, 8 capable of engaging into some of the said guide bars.
