PURPOSE:To prevent the interruption of message processing by performing the message processing and the man-machine interface processing in parallel by two processors and transmitting and receiving data through a shared memory. CONSTITUTION:A management information system MIS has a processor 22 and a processor 24, and these processors 22 and 24 are connected to a shared memory 30. The processor 22 and a memory 23 analyze a call event message which a communication controller 21 receives and generate management information related to trunks 11-12 and attendant boards 14-15 of a private branch exchange PBX and store this information in the shared memory 30. Management information stored in the memory 30 is stored in an external storage device 44 through an input/output controller 27 by the processor 24 and a memory 25 and is displayed on display devices 41 and 42. Thus, the interruption of the message processing is prevented.
