PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head of a simple constitution which has the even characteristics free from a secular change and can be produced with a small number of production processes with low cost, by unifying a member which fixes the 3rd core with pressure to the 1st and 2nd cores with a coil bobbin. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd cores 12 and 22 are butted to magnetic circuits 1 and 2 respectively via a nonmagnetic space plate 3, and a recording/reproducing gap G1 is adjacent to an erasion gap G2 with intervention of the plate 3 and the 1st core 11 and the 2nd core 12. While the pressing parts 15d and 25d are unified with coil bobbins 15 and 25 which are set to the cores 11 and 21 respectively. Then the 3rd cores 15 and 25 are fixed via the part 15d of the bobbin 15 and the part 25d of the bobbin 25.
