摘要 PURPOSE:To make the scale of employed power source smaller and at the same time eliminate the loss of molding material by a method wherein a plurality of multi-molds are alternately closed and opened by means of a single mold clamping device. CONSTITUTION:One end of a tie bar, which slidably pierces through a fixed platen B, is hinged to a movable surface plate C, while the other end is hinged to movable end surface plate D. Multi-molds, each of which is equipped with a hot runner manifold, are formed in spaces, in which the fixed platen B respectively opposes to the movable surface plate C and to the movable end surface plate D. Guide bars and the tie bars slidably pierce through the supporting platens of mold parts, each of which contains hot runner manifold respectively at both the sides of the fixed platen and the insides of the movable surface plate and of the movable end surface plate. In addition, the fixed platen is interposed in the middle of the stroke of the tie bars so that the one of the multi-molds is closed when the other of the multi-molds is opened in response to the reciprocating motion of the ram of a cylinder. The left and the right movable surface plates and the movable end surface plate are properly connected to the guide bars. As a result, an injection nozzle can touch a closed multi-mold in order to mold by injection.
