Heat recovery from the heat of exhaust gases

The devices make use of the heat of exhaust gases from heating installations and individual furnaces by extracting heat through cooling the fuel gases. The device can be used for increased utilisation of the individual furnace in such a way that the device, which is inserted between the furnace and stack, additionally extracts radiative and convective heat which it introduces into the room. This operation is possible in an analogous way directly from the extraction of the flue gases from the stack. In addition, the convective heat obtained can be used as additional warm air heating. The power consumption of the two ventilators is approximately 40 watts/hour, which is approximately 1 KW/24 hours = 0.14 DM/day. That is to say operating costs which bear no relation to the thermal energy additionally obtained. Possible applications: For the purpose of greater utilisation of heat in connection with individual furnaces, use as additional warm air heating from the heat of exhaust gases from individual furnaces or heating installations. <IMAGE>
