PURPOSE:To extend a function by adding an interface converting adapter and a firmware routine corresponding to a tested interface. CONSTITUTION:A firmware is stored from a firmware storing adapter 10-1 into a main control side 10, and waists for the interruption from an adapter connecting part 20. An action command given from a tested interface 30-1 of a tested device 30 is sent through an interface converting adapter 20-1 to an adapter connecting part 20 and interrupted from the adapter connecting part 20 to a main control part 10. When a firmware in the main control part 10 receives the interruption, the firmware transfers a control to a test firmware routine routine corresponding to the tested interface 30-1. The priority order of the processing is controlled by the firmware, a multiple action can be executed, and by preparing, in addition, an interface converting adapter test firmware routine for the appearance of the new tested interface, the function can be extended. |
