PURPOSE:To make inner voids extremely fewer and smaller when used for wire coatings, by controlling the particle size of a powder coating comprising thermosetting resins, fillers and additives to be within a particular range. CONSTITUTION:The particle size of a powder coating comprising thermosetting resins, fillers and additives is adjusted so that an average particle size is 30mu or less and a particle size distribution is 0wt% of 149mu or more and 0.5wt% or less of 74mu or more in the residue on a sieve determined with a Ro-Tap Shaker. Said thermosetting resins include epoxy, unsatd. polyester, and polyurethane resins. Pref. are epoxy resins. Pref., one or more of silica, alumina, calcium carbonate, etc., are used in an amt. of 5wt% or less as said filler. Said additives include colorants, flow agents, antioxidants, etc.
