PURPOSE:To prevent elution of an electrostatic charge transfer material and to stabilize a good-quality image for a long term by incorporating the charge transfer material in the charge generating layer of a functionally separated photosensitive body and specifying its concn. in the coating fluid for forming the charge generating layer. CONSTITUTION:The charge generating layer of the photosensitive body obtained by laminating the charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer on a conductive substrate contains the charge transfer material in a saturation degree of 80-98wt% of the solvent to be used for the coating fluid for forming the charge generating layer, thus permitting elution of the charge transfer material to be reduced, and the coating film to be prevented from sagging and deteriorating in the uniformity of the interface, so, the characteristics not to deteriorate, on the other hand, the elution of the charge transfer layer to be restrained at the time of coating the charge transfer layer with the coating fluid for forming the charge generating layer by the dipping method, accordingly, the characteristics of the photosensitive body to be enhanced and stabilized, and hence, this photosensitive body to be used not only for electrophotographic copying machines, but also widely for laser printers and CRT printers, etc. |
