The invention permits intraoral surgical treatments to be carried out on the lower jaw for immobilisation of bone fractures and osteotomies, especially on the ascending branch. This is essentially achieved by an ultraflat design of the mounting and the drive, as well as by the exchangeability of the osteosynthesis instruments.
