PURPOSE:To make possible the compactification of a camera and to improve the accuracy of diaphragm control such as FM by providing an electromagnetic driving device and opening detention lever and releasing the detention by following up to the return operation of a plunger owing to the annihilation of the final pulse to return the open member to the home position. CONSTITUTION:A driving pulse P1 is outputted when a pulse generating circuit 70 starts operating in accordance with a shutter release. An electromagnet 9 is therefore intermittently operated by the driving pulse P1 to repeat the attraction operation of short intervals of a plunger 9b by which a ratchet claw 12 is moved back and forth. A shut detention lever 4 is turned gradually toward the right by such movement and the effect of the shut detention lever 14 while an open/shut spring 5 is charged. The open detention lever 6 is going to be turned to the right by a connecting lever 16 at every attraction of the plunger 9b but cannot follow up the same as said lever receives the effect of a delay governor 8 and the pulse interval is short. The detention of the open/shut lever 2 is therefore not released. The ratchet claw 12 is held while pulling the lever 4 when the zero pulses are gradually attained. The lever 2 opens the shutter vanes by the effect of the spring 5.
