PURPOSE:To eliminate cutting of a tie bar in the final stage without necessity of a conventional tie bar by allowing the part between external leads to remain as an interval part only by forming a slit at both sides of the external lead except between other ends. CONSTITUTION:Three external leads 2 group are formed from strip frame 1 at both side slits 11, and the other ends of the leads 2 are punched with a die pad 3 at the center and connectors 4 at both sides. Interval parts 12, 13 remain between leads 2 except the other ends. The sits 11 are formed in width as small as possible, the leads 2 are mechanically protected by the interval parts 12, 13 to prevent them from bending. The frame 1 is formed to have sufficient width without disturning the later assembling step, and reinforced by the interval 13. |
