PRODUCTION OF EMULSIFIED SOLUTION FOR SIZING

PURPOSE:To produce efficiently an emulsified soln. for sizing excellent in sizing performance in the less energy by feeding a mixed soln. stream consisting essentially of a sizing agent and an emulsifying agent into a water current so that a turbulent flow is formed. CONSTITUTION:A mixed soln. stream 4 flowing repletely through the inside of a circular pipe 2 which has an inner diameter of about 0.1-0.6 times preferably about 0.2-0.5 times of an inner diameter of a circular pipe 1 is supplied into a water current 3 flowing repletely through the inside of the circular pipe 1 to the same direction as the water current direction from the nearly central position of cross-section of the water current 3 in about 0.1-0.8 times velocity of water current and thereby the required turbulent flow is formed in a joint point of both the water current 3 and the mixed soln. stream 4 or in a downstream thereof. When the turbulent flow is formed by joining the water current 3 and the mixed soln. stream 4 like this method, an emulsified soln. for sizing which consists of an emulsion dispersed with the particles of sizing agent having 1-3mu particle size in water.
