PURPOSE:To enhance the density of windings by welding the windings in grooves formed on the surface of a substrate made of an electrically insulating material to form a disk-shaped startor element. CONSTITUTION:An armature winding 6 is mounted on the surface of a stator element 3, and a permanent magnet is mounted in response to the position of the winding of the element 3. The element 3 is formed on a substrate 7 made of electrically insulating plastic. Spiral grooves 8 corresponding to the spiral shape of the winding 6 are formed on the surface of the substrate 7, an the winding 6 is melted in the grooves 8. Thus, a disk-shaped stator element having small thickness and high winding density can be obtained. |
