PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to write a display picture frame additionally with hands, by providing a framing part, where frame data forming the display picture frame on a display part is stored, and a selecting part which performs selection to add frame data to display data in accordance with a command. CONSTITUTION:First, prescribed keys on a keyboard part 1 are depressed to select the classification of a form, display or non-display of a frame, the size of characters, etc. of printing conditions on the menu display. After this selection is terminated, a key depressed again to transmit display data to a buffer memory part 4 from a storage part 2 successively. In this case, if non-display of the frame is selected, only display data are transmitted to the memory part; but if display of the frame is selected, an upper part A of a framing part 8 is added to data of the first line, and rule parts B are added to data of the following lines, and a lower part C is added to data of the last line, and they are transmitted to the memory part 4. Thus, print 11 and a display picture frame 12 are printed simultaneously on a recording medium 10 printed out by a printing part 5 in case of display of the frame.
