<p>PURPOSE:To relieve the load of the operator attended with cursor movement by designing that the cursor jumps to an object in a direction of progressing mouse. CONSTITUTION:A cursor control section 4 registers an optional rectangular region of a display screen in advance for coordinates, reads a present cursor coordinate and checks whether or not the coordinate exists in the registered rectangular region. When the coordinate does not exists in the rectangular region, the control section finds out a rectangular having a line segment containing a vector started from the present coordinate and directed to the displacement obtained from an input coordinate information section or in the vicinity of the line segment. A point giving the least distance among the said cross points is obtained and the content of the present coordinate of the said cursor is revised based on the value obtained at the said point to execute the cursor skip.</p> |
