PURPOSE:To prevent flaking of 'silicone(R)' gel and leakage of silicone oil by making use of a sealing groove provided around the plane of incidence of an input lens by making the resilience of the sealing proper magnitude. CONSTITUTION:The sealing 5 is inserted between a CRT tube 1 and an input lens 2, and said three parts make up a bag-form. From the inlet of the enclosure, a mixed silicone oil is injected. If the pressure of this silicone oil to be injected is smaller than the resilience of the sealing, the sealing 5 deforms, but if it is too large a value, the silicone oil peels off from the surfaces 7 of the tube and of the input lens after gelling. In order to prevent the flaking, a groove for sealing is provided in the circumference of the lens 6. By changing the depth of this groove properly, the resilience of sealing that meets specifications is obtained even when the clearance between the lens and the tube is smaller than the thickness of the sealing.
