PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. which has excellent low-temperature impact resistance and gives moldings having good appearance, by incorporating a modified olefin polymer obtd. by grafting an unsaturated carboxylic acid onto a hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer, in an arom. polyester. CONSTITUTION:1-100pts.wt. modified olefin polymer obtd. by grafting 0.01-10wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative onto a hydrogenated conjugated diene polymer or a hydrogenated conjugated diene/arom. vinyl copolymer is incorporated in 100pts.wt. arom. polyester. An inorg. filler may be added to the compsn. to improve rigidity. Generally, when inorg. filler is added, impact resistance is greatly lowered. However, the compsn. of this invention has an advantage in that impact resistance is not lowered so much, even when inorg. filler is added. Aas the arom. polyester, polybutylene terephthalate is particalarly preferred from the viewpoints of well-balanced properties between mechanical properties and moldability. |
