<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the characteristic of steering corresponding to vehicle speed, and to make the constitution compact by changing the ratio of the turn steering angle of wheels to the steering angle of a steering wheel in response to the vehicle speed. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle speed signal a from a vehicle speed sensor 18 and a steering angle signal b from a steering angle sensor which detects the turning angle of a steering wheel are inputted into a controller 17, and the turning volume of a stepping motor 15 is set on the basis of these signals, a, b, and this is outputted into the stepping motor 15 as a control signal c. Accompanied by this, a pinion carrier 13 in a differential gear structure 8 is rotated. And therefore a ring gear 10 in the differential gear structure 8 or an output shaft 7 is rotated by the volume which is increased or decreased in response to the turning volume of the pinion carrier 13 in addition to the volume in proportion to the steering volume of the steering wheel and thus the wheels are made the turn steering in response to the turning volume of the output shaft 7.</p> |
