[Also in Division C2] A pesticidal preparation contains as active ingredient a compound of the formula: in which R 1 and R 2 are C 1 -C 4 alkyl, X is halogen, e.g. Cl or Br, Y is H or halogen, e.g. Cl, and R 3 is a C 1 -C 4 alkyl group which may be substituted by phenyl. The composition may contain a vehicle, a solvent, a diluent, an emulsifier, a dispersant, an adhesive, a wetting agent, a thickener and/or a further pesticide and may be in the form of a solution, suspension, emulsion concentrate, spray powder, dusting agent, dispersion, or granulate, or may be in a form suitable as a spray, e.g. in the gaseous phase. When used in high concentration the active ingredient causes plant defoliantion or desiccation. |
