A sinterable, finely divided moulding compsn., contg. 2 polymers each with K value 55-90, with grain size 10-50 microns, and bulk wt. 400-700 g/cubic dm, has grain distribution: 99-30 wt% below 33 microns, 1-60% 33-63 microns, 0-9% 0.9% 63-125 microns, and 0-1% above 125 microns. The compsn. contains (I) 95-10 wt% of a sinterable (graft) copolymer, prepd. in aq. suspension, contg. (a) 90-70 wt% vinyl chloride, (b) 10-30% 3-10C alkyl acrylate, (c) 0-7% ethylene, and (d) 0-15% vinyl acetate, where the amt. of (d) is at least 3/7 of the amt. of (c), and (b)+(c)+(d) is 10-30% (II) 5-90% of a sinterable polymer contg. (i) 100-95% vinyl chloride, (ii) 0-5% ethylene, and (iii) 0-5% vinyl acetate, where the amt. of (iii) is at least 3/7 of the amt. of (ii), and (ii)+(iii) is 0-5%, and (III) 0.05-5% of a water-sol. surfactant, opt. forming a component of I and/ or II. |
