PURPOSE:To enable the inspection of the inner surface of a container, by providing a rotary rail with the curvature thereof the same as that of the spherical container close to the container to run a detector on the rail by remote controlling. CONSTITUTION:A rotary rail 3 is formed in a concentric circle with the curvature thereof the same as a spherical container 1 and set on the center axis 5 of the container 1. The rotating shaft 6 of the rail 3 slides with a bearing 7 for thrust and the shaft 9 at the other end is connected to a motor 8 to be supported with a journal bearing 10. Thus, with the rotation of the motor 8, the rail 3 is turned over the entire circumference of the container 1 as indicated by the dotted line 11. Then, the rail is set at the position of the desired angle of rotation by controlling the motor 8 and the inner surface of the container 1 can be inspected with a detector 12 at the tip of a manipulator 13 carried on a moving truck 2. |
