PURPOSE:To obtain the titled color printer wherein the slackening of recording paper is prevented and the positional detection of the recording paper is accurate and color shift is reduced, constituted so that the paper feed speed of the tractor for feeding the recording paper is changed corresponding to the peripheral speed of a platen roller. CONSTITUTION:When a rotary shaft 24 is rotated, the rotary force thereof is transmitted through a belt 27 to rotate a platen roller 4 and the rotary part of a pin tractor 3. If the radius ratio of a pulley 25 and a pulley 26 is set so as to be made small in the side of the pulley 25, the paper feed speed of the pin tractor 3 becomes faster than the peripheral speed of the platen roller 4 and, therefore, fan-folded paper is not slackened. Therefore, the positional detection accuracy of the paper by an optical sensor is enhanced as compared with conventional one. By this method, the color shift of a color printer is reduced. |
