PURPOSE:To facilitate mounting by forming a fitting surface in fitting surfaces of crank cases of a halved structure, said fitting surface serving to fit a mount part therein having a filter threaded thereinto in the captioned mounting structure of mounting the oil filter on the crank cases. CONSTITUTION:A crank case 10 of a V type two cylinder engine for motorcycle consists of left and right cases 14, 16 both being joined with each other through fitting surfaces 18 thereof. Thereupon, the left case 14 is adapted to have a flowing-in path 36 formed with casting which is communicated with a path 40 extending upwardly on the way thereto 36. A left half cylindrical surface 42a having a left half rectangular groove 42b provided therein is formed adjoining to said path 40, and a left half close contact surface 44a is formed adjoining to the front end of the same surface 42a. In addition, the right case 16 is adapted to have a right half cylindrical surface 42c and a right half close contact surface 44b are likewise formed adjoining to a left end part of a right flowing- out path 46b. With these surfaces and grooves formed as such, fitting surfaces of a flowing-out tube 52 and a seat plate 56 as a mounting member for mounting a cartridge type oil filter 60 are constructed. |
