PURPOSE:To synthesized small originals without fixing these originals to other paper with paste or the like by constituting an original cover plate of a member having an electrostatic attracting function. CONSTITUTION:The original cover plate 3 is constituted of an electrostatic attraction plate and set up so that its electrostatic attracting surface (a) is turned upwards. When an original is set up on a required position and then a voltage is applied to the electrostatic attracting plate 3, electrostatic attracting force is generated to attract and fix the original. Consequently, the original can be set up precisely on a required position without shift of the original. In addition, the synthesis of originals can be attained directly on the original cover plate without adhering the originals to other paper, so that efficient and resource-saved synthesis of originals can be attained.
