PURPOSE:To control a recirculating flow of exhaust to an optimum quantity, by correcting a detection value of valve opening in an exhaust recirculating valve by a fixed value stored at specific time and correctly setting a fully closed reference position of the exhaust recirculating valve. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control unit (ECU) reads inside an engine speed value Ne, in-intake pipe negative pressure PB and an atmospheric pressure value PA to be stored (step 1) in a random access memory (RAM). A step 4 calculates a valve opening target value LCMD. A step 9 sets a fully closed reference position value LO. A step 11 determines the control quantity of an exhaust recirculating valve. In this way, the electronic control unit, enabling the fully closed reference position of the exhaust recirculating valve to be correctly set, can control recirculating flow of exhaust to an optimum quantity. |
