PURPOSE:To make document printing over the space between different document printing data, by controlling the document printing by designating the document printing starting point and ending point. CONSTITUTION:When a starting point and ending point are inputted from the starting point/ending point inputting means 12 of a keyboard, etc., document printing control information and document printing data are inputted in a control means 10 from the data inputting means 11 of a magnetic recorder and reproducing device, etc. The control means 10 detects the starting point based on the inputted data and stores the starting point in a starting point storing means 16, and then, causes a document printing means 18 to make document printing while monitoring the printing operation through an ending point detecting means 17. When the ending point is detected by the means 17 and it is discriminated that document printing of a required copy number has not been completed, document printing data are returned to the 1st stage returning point by the information stored in a document printing information point storing means 14. Then the leading edge of the printing data which is the 2nd stage returning point is searched by stored starting point information and the next document printing is executed. |
