PURPOSE:To reduce cogging, by magnetizing a magnet for field magnet for magnetic floxdistribution so that the length in the peripheral direction in the maximum magnetic flux density range may be arranged to be 60% or less than a magnetic pole pitch. CONSTITUTION:An armature core 1 is organized with a plurality of tooth sections 3 protruded on the outer periphery of a yoke 2, and each tooth section 3 is wound up with an armature coil 5. A magnet 6 for field magnet magnetized with eight poles organizing a rotor is fitted into a cylindrical rotor yoke 7. The magnet 6 is magnetized so that it may be expressed in l/p<=0.6 when the magnetic pole pitch is (p) and the length in the peripheral direction in the maxi mum magnetic flux density range is l, and a slightly trapezoid corrugated magnetic flux density distribution is shown in the drawing. In this manner, the magnetic density on the magnetic pole boundary sections can be controlled and cogging can be reduced. |
