PURPOSE:To obtain a film or sheet having excellent moisture-permeability and moisture absorption, and effective for clothing or medical use, by forming a mixture of a polyolefin resin, liquid hydrocarbon polymer, and a filler under melting, and making the surface of the product hydrophilic with a surfactant and a deliquescent inorganic salt. CONSTITUTION:A composition prepared by mixing 100pts.(wt.) of a polyolefin resin with 25-400pts. of a filler and 1-100pts. of a liquid or waxy hydrocarbon polymer, is formed under melting in the form of undrawn film or sheet, which is at least uniaxially drawn to obtain a porous film or sheet. The surface of the product is made hydrophilic by treating with a surfactant and a deliquescent inorganic salt (preferably halide of the I or II-group metal of the periodic table). The moisture permeability of the film or sheet is increased to >=500g/cm<2>-24hr and the moisture absorption reaches >=0.3wt% by the hydrophilic treatment of the film, etc. |
