<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of stretching thin cables by furnishing cogs at the side faces of two mating endless belts, pinching the cables between grooves by a span adjusting device, and thereby paying off cables simultaneously and continuously at a relatively high speed. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of thin cables 51 are accommodated between grooves 25 and pinched by belts 23, 24 with the aid of springs 21, 22 so as to generate frictional force between the belts 23, 24 and cables 51, and they are sent out in the direction of arrow. The belts 23, 24 are driven by a motor 41 through a chain and a sprocket wheel. This enables simultaneous and continuous paying- off of a plurality of thin cables, which have presented difficulties to stretch by any conventional machinery, to lead to enhancement of the cable stretching efficiency with facilitated operation.</p> |
