A description is given of a single-lever mixer fitting with a fixed control disc and a control disc which can be moved relative to the latter. Together with a driver part, the movable control disc forms a water deflection channel. Formed integrally on the driver part is a noise-damping device which projects into the deflection channel. It consists of a combination of ribs which are situated opposite two passage openings of the fixed control disc and of a solid baffle plate which lies opposite a third passage opening of the fixed control disc in a particular geometrical relationship. The noise-damping device with this configuration is suitable both for pressure operation and low-pressure operation.
