PURPOSE:To reduce the scatter of dust by providing a casing, which covers the rotary edge, above the base and by installing a dust collecting box in the casing in the electrically-driven cutter which exposes the cutting edge to the lower side of the base. CONSTITUTION:The rotary edge 3, which is provided with a handle 1 and is fixed to the motor 2, is protected by the casing 4 that is attached to the motor 2. The base 5 is horizontally mounted on the motor, the lower part of the rotary edge 3 is exposed from the base 5, and the cutting edge 3a is formed on the outer circumference of the rotary edge 3. Also the dust collecting box 6, which is near the rotary edge and has an opening opposite to the rotary direction, is provided in the casing 4, and the box 6 is rotatably attached to the casing 4 with the axis 7. Moreover, the lever 9 fixed to the dust box is projected from the cut 8 of casing, and is fixed to the casing with a spring 10. |
