PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance and silicone oil resistance by forming a hollow part in a mandrel, charging silicone oil in the hollow part through numbers of communication holes formed communicating with the hollow part, and forming a specific porous layer around the external surface of the mandrel. CONSTITUTION:The hollow part 53 is formed in the mandrel 50, numbers of through holes 54 and formed communicating with the hollow part 53, and sili cone oil 55 is charged in the hollow part 53; and a continuous air form type porous layer 56 made of silicone rubber consisting principally of diorgano siloxane which has a phenyl group by 3-50mol% of all organic groups is formed around the external surface of the mandrel 50. This oil supply roll 60 is pressed against a fixing roll 61 to supply a proper amount of silicone oil stably to the fixing roll 61; and there is no variation in the external diameter of the oil supply roll 60 and the porous layer 56 does not breaks down. Further, the oil supply roll 60 has superior heat resistance and wear resistance and also has a little variation in external roll diameter even when lubricity is small, so its life is long. |
