摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To automate the tuning of control system by inputting the same plate thickness deviation signal at inlet side to both parts of a criterion model and automatic plate thickness controlling circuit and by correcting the controlling circuit based on the difference between the output of the criterion model and the plate thickness at the outlet side of a rolling mill. CONSTITUTION:The criterion models of a rolling mill, plate thickness controlling circuit and rolling reduction control device surrounded by a chain line 20 are provided against the actual rolling mill driving system surrounded by a chain line 30. The same input signal DELTAH is given to the block M of the criterion model and the block R of the actual rolling mill driving system. The differential output hM-h of both blocks is found by an adder-subtractor 41 and the gain of the block 31 showing the plate thickness controlling circuit of the block R is corrected, also the sliding of the output (h) due to the sliding of a parame ter is corrected. Namely the difference hM-h is multiplied by the output (h) with a multiplier 42 and with inputting the product h(hM-h) into an adaptive control mechanism 43 the gain adjustment of the block 31 is performed. In this method, the tuning of the control system is automated.</p>
