PURPOSE:To dispense with oil to be mixed with suction air as well as to reduce a rate of oil consumption and white smoke, by installing a scattering oil passage which leads to a cylinder sliding surface after passing through the inside of a piston rod from its down part via a piston. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 18 connected to a piston 2 is connected to the other end part of a connecting rod whose one end is connected to a crankshaft. A scattering oil passage 34, which leads to a cylinder sliding surface after passing through the inside of the piston rod 18 from its down part via the piston 2, is installed there. This scattering oil passage 34 enters an oil passage 34a, reaching to an outer circumferential surface of the piston 2 by way of oil passages 34b and 34c, an annular groove 35 and an oil passage 34d, and lubricates an interval between the piston and a cylinder wall. Thus, oil to be mixed with suction air is no longer required and, what is more, a rate of oil consumption and white smoke are reducible. |
