PURPOSE:To make it possible to selectively apply recording to a desired ink layer, by providing a different number of layer detection marks at positions corresponding to the side edges of the leading ink layer and remaining ink layer of an ink sheet in each cycle region. CONSTITUTION:A ink sheet 12 is divided into plural cycle regions 13, and light and dark yellow ink layers, light and dark magenta ink layers, light and dark cyan layers and a black ink layer 5-11 are successively arranged to each cycle region 13 while reference color marks 1 are provided to the light and right side edges of the ink layer 5, a density marks 2 to the left side edge 12a of each dark ink layer, color marks 3 to the right side edges of light magenta, light cyan and black ink layers 7, 9, 11 and a terminal mark 4 to the part of the layer 5 of the rearmost end left edge 12a so as to be respectively coated in a black color. These marks 1-4 are detected by an optical detection means to selectively record a desired ink layer while recording can be performed in synchronous relation to each mark and a color error can be prevented. |
