PURPOSE:To provide a fiber-separation tube which can be easily assembled and disassembled and a effective to prevent the catch of the fiber at the inlet, by forming a fiber-sucking groove at the joining surfaces of a pair of nearly semicicular cylinders, and attaching an abrasion-resistant guide plate to the inlet. CONSTITUTION:The fiber-separation tube connected to the inlet side of an air false-twisting nozzle in a fasciated spinning frame is composed of a pair of nearly semicircular cylinders 2 (2-1 and 2-2) and a guide plate 8 attached to the cylinders at the fiber-inlet side. The joining faces of the nearly semicircular cylinders are furnished with the grooves 2-1a and 2-2a for the suction of fiber. The guide plate 8 is made of an abrasion-resistant material, and is furnished with a hole 8a having nearly the same form as the inlet of the groove of the cylinder 2. |
