PURPOSE:To execute thermal analysis with good accuracy at a high speed by designating the section where the inclination of temp. is below a prescribed range as a stagnating section, detecting a primary crystal temp. and eutectic temp. in said section and detecting the temps. under another conditions when said temps. cannot be measured. CONSTITUTION:A temp. measuring instrument 10 measures the temp. in the cooling stage of a molten metal and the output thereof is analyzed by a data analyzing device 20, from which the analyzed result is outputted to an output device 30. Whether the temp. data is within the preset primary crystal temp. range and eutectic temp. range of not is discriminated in a discriminating part 21 for the primary crystal temp. range and a discriminating part 22 for the eutectic temp. range and the stagnating section is detected in a detecting part 23 for the stagnating section from the result of the discrimination. The primary crystal temp. and eutectic temp. are detected by the respective detecting parts 24, 25 in said stagnating section. The detection is executed again under another conditions in a redetecting part 26 for the primary crystal temp. and a redetecting part 27 for the eutectic temp. when the primary crystal temp. and eutectic temp. are not detected. |
